Getting There !
I have to admit I had a few restless nights over the Christmas holidays with respect to raising funds for the ride - I’ve raised dollars before but until you actually start asking and doing it can be a little overwhelming. Almost at the $17k mark as I write this and feeling much more confident . I have a couple of fund raising events being planned including a Ride Inside event at the St. Laurent shopping center in Ottawa, May 8. I really want to thank my sponsors and supporters as they have really stepped up to the plate. Can’t wait to start riding outside as ,although necessary at this time of year to prepare, sitting on a bike in your basement for hours on end is mind numbing- starting to run out of cycling videos.
